Our History

Chartered in 2012, the Capital Region Rotary Club is the youngest of the 40 clubs in the Albany / Saratoga / Lake George Region.

We meet the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at Warehouse Grill & BBQ, 219 Wolf Road, from 5-6pm.

We are a diverse group of 19 young professionals who strive to make an impact on our local and global community. Our focus is to assist groups who support kids, pets, seniors and vets.

Our Future

As our group of volunteers grows, we hope to partner with more not for profits in our area (and worldwide) to help them achieve their mission.  Many hands make light work.  There are so many needs to be met.  The impact we can have on meeting those needs will indeed be our legacy.

Our activities

We can be found volunteering at organizations around the Capital Region.  Some of these include the South End Children’s Café, The Ronald McDonald House, Regional Food Bank.  In the winter we send Holiday cards to the troops and go caroling at a local senior center.  In the spring our annual Bins of Fun Toy Drive brings enjoyment to the youngest patients at The Bernard and Millie Duker Children’s Hospital at Albany Med.
